It has always been a Childhood dream for me to be able to spend time and stroke a Cheetah ever since I was a young girl.  Never thinking for one moment that it would come true.

My dream became reality for me this year at Eagle Heights where both Roger and I spent time feeding and then joining two Cheetahs – Boumani & Savannah in their enclosure.

Feeding them was fantastic and they were both graceful & gentle whilst taking from our hands through the wire fence but the best was yet to come when we went into their enclosure.  The gamekeeper, Jonny supervised (health and safety being paramount at all times not only for us but also for Boumani & Savannah).  Jonny had a wealth of knowledge and we learnt a lot from him.  Boumani the male Cheetah was hand reared and it was him that we were allowed to stroke.   He felt so soft and he purred like a freight train, bless him.   He was just so wonderful.

The experience for me was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed my amazing day.   Yet another one of my dreams coming true.
